A Business Health Check is the opportunity to sit down with a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who can provide personalized advice around your business structure and financial statements and suggest ways to improve the financial health of your business. We will also provide assistance and advice in preparing for any upcoming audits or financing by helping you navigate complex financial risks along with financial reporting and compliance issues that may be impacting your business.

What do you need to provide?
To get the most out of this product, you should have an up-to-date, reconciled, chart of accounts, in a cloud-based application that has the ability to generate reports relating to your balance sheet and liabilities. If you have payroll, it would be useful for you to know its breakdown. Having access to recent tax filings would also be beneficial. If you are facing future audits or financing / due diligence, you'll need to know the terms and/or requirements.

What do you get?
You'll get a 1 hour private, unrecorded face-to-face video meeting with a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). You'll be able to share your screen and ask questions. You can choose the date and time of the meeting, and you'll be able to reschedule it at your convenience.

How long will it take?
For most people this takes 2-3 days from payment to completion, but this will depend on your availability. Some people book same-day consultations. Some people prefer to spend time prior to their booking preparing and getting their questions and documents in order - meaning they book a week or so in advance. Some people schedule consultations to align with their month-end or quarter-end.

After payment you'll need to fill in a brief form for our team so they can prepare for your booking, and choose a time to talk with our CPA team by private video call. In this 1 hour call we'll ask you some general questions about your current business health for context - then begin answering any questions you may have.
