An Accountant Consultation is the opportunity to sit down with a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who can answer any of the questions you have around your business - from the way you're running things day-to-day and what numbers you need to track - to key performance indicators and ideas for future growth. There will be no big words, no abbreviations and no finance-speak - just useful non-patronizing insights from a friendly huuman expert.

What do you need to provide?
To get the most out of this product, you should have an up-to-date, reconciled, chart of accounts, in a cloud-based application that has the ability to generate reports relating to your balance sheet and liabilities. If you have payroll, it would be useful for you to know its breakdown. Having access to recent tax filings would also be beneficial. If you rent an office or storefront, knowing your rental costs and square-footage could also be useful.

What do you get?
You'll get a 1 hour private, unrecorded face-to-face video meeting with a friendly Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). You'll be able to share your screen and ask questions. You can choose the date and time of the meeting, and you'll be able to reschedule it at your convenience.

How long will it take?
For most people this takes 2-3 days from payment to completion, but this will depend on your availability. Some people book same-day consultations. Some people prefer to spend time prior to their booking preparing and getting their questions and documents in order - meaning they book a week or so in advance. Some people schedule consultations to align with their month-end or quarter-end. You're able to book your consultation up to 30 days in advance.

What happens after you purchase this mini?
After payment you'll need to fill in a brief form for our team so they can prepare for your booking, and then choose a time to talk with our CPA team by private video call. In this 1 hour call we'll ask you some general questions about your current business for context - then begin answering any questions you may have. It's a bit like going to the doctor - but for your business.
